Description
Water Bowser for Farms in Tanzania
A water bowser is a towed tank that carries large volumes of water to wherever you need it. Hitched to your tractor, it delivers water for livestock, crop irrigation, spraying, construction and household use. On farms far from piped water, a bowser is often essential.
Reliable Water Wherever You Work
In the dry season, water can be the biggest challenge on the farm. Animals need drinking water every day, and young crops and seedlings need regular watering. A water bowser brings the supply to the field.
- Deliver water to livestock in remote paddocks
- Water seedlings, nurseries and young trees
- Supply mixing water for boom sprayers
- Support dust control and construction sites
Livestock keepers in Dodoma, Manyara, Singida and Shinyanga rely on bowsers when rivers and wells run dry. Avocado and tree planters in Njombe and Iringa use them to water young trees. Contractors and local councils also use bowsers for road works and building projects, creating extra income for owners. A strong tank and solid chassis help it cope with rough tracks.
